Cancer Families United provides family networking events to all families who are affected by childhood cancer; currently in treatment, after treatment, and families who have lost their child to cancer and seek support and fellowship. These events are planned in the local Kalamazoo area and are free to the families. These events are an important part of the process of accepting a child has cancer. It brings comfort and security to those who feel like they are all alone dealing with cancer. These families connect and support one another, because they know what each other is going through. The children are impacted positively also, as they are given opportunities to just be kids and forget about cancer!
Our Mission: To provide essential support and services to families affected by childhood cancer through family networking, community awareness, financial assistance and advocacy for a cure.
